One Single Impression - Challenge - 'Change'

I am thrilled to bits that One deep Breath is continuing in our new meeting place of - One Single Impression. Kudos to the ladies who have taken on this challenge, much to the relief of the regular 'haiku-ers if there is such a word...lol.

I found change a difficult topic and reading through the entries of others, I am sticking with just two of mine today.

Silent snowfall
paints change
through the window.

Loose change
pocketful of smiles
and the open road.
Thanks for viewing.

I like these very much. Snow as paint that changes everything is an image that sure speaks to me!

Snow definitely changes a landscape in a hurry and quite dramatically. Should I see irony in an Aussie writing this one?

Love these - the second one fires my wanderlust! Ten feet of snow this winter dulled my enthusiasm for silent snow! Grin. Nicely done!!

I love the images in both of these: the beauty of the snow; the fun of the pocket change. Both are so true and both are written so beautifully.

My "Change" is here. Thank you!

I am going to add you to the blogroll, OK?

I really like your second haiku.

FYI, there is a Japanese term for writers of haiku I've seen used occasionally:

haijin [meaning writers of haiku-related literature]
