I echo crafty green poet. I really like the idea of the paper hearts and recycled hearts.

The movement here is swift as love itself can be. Well done. I like these.

the newness of love really shines in the first 2...& i like the idea of "recycling" love...making it new over & over again

These are real enjoyable. I could read them together, but they all had their own season or moment of love... great!

Love these - the last one is particularly striking! The haiga, too, is wonderful...

The haiga is particulary striking (gorgeous really) but I also enjoyed the haikus.

With others here, I think that this one is a strong image and concept for haiku:

Paper cards
cardboard hearts
recycle Love

I wonder if putting "recycle" into past tense wouldn't make the haiku read even better, i.e.:

paper cards,
cardboard hearts...
recycled love

Or "our recycled love" which could give the poem, perhaps, expanded emotional import?

Congratulations on making the kigo (seasonal reference), Valentine's Day (in other words) fully integrated in the poem, even as the poem's theme.

Just my thoughts for whatever they are worth (or not). - Happy Lover's Day!

Your poem on the photo moved me so much. It reminded me that perhaps I don't want to live through love again: yet I keep looking. Ultimately it all ends. That poem is so powerful. My One Deep Breath is here.
